With over two centuries of impeccable career, Navarro Correas is one of the leading wineries in the market for premium wines. Since 1996, it belongs to CINBA S.A. and, through this company, DIAGEO, the International Group largest producer of drinks in the world. Tradition, prestige and elegance are the concepts distinguishing Navarro Correas within the broad spectrum of Argentine wineries. The Navarro Correas family descends from the Correas, an ancient tradition in the development and production of fine wines. Its origin dates back to 1798, when Don Juan de Dios Correas planted the first seeds in Mendoza land at the foot of the Andes. Since mid-1800, and for a century, the family sold their grapes and wines from other producers. But in 1974, Don Edmundo Navarro Correas, direct descendant of Juan de Dios Correas, decided to start making wine under his own name. In order to increase processing capacity and storage of wine, increase the export challenge and inserted in the circuit of Tourism Wine Routes, Navarro Correas inaugurates new winery in Godoy Cruz (Mendoza). Navarro Correas Extra Brut 2008

I bought it at the wine store I always go to .
Nice colour. Good yeast aromas enhance a wine's bouquet. I noticed the 2008 a little astringent.
