Gancia Moscato D'Asti

Moscato d'Asti Gancia born in the vineyards of Piedmont, located in the area of Canelli, near Asti. This sweet wine is made exclusively with grapes Moscato Bianco di Canelli, harvested by hand and immediately subjected to a gentle pressing. After a natural decantation, the wort is filtered and maintained at a temperature of 0 ° C, to be then left to ferment in small containers, with the addition of selected yeasts. The Gancia Moscato is characterized by a brilliant golden yellow color and a delicate and sweet scent of peach blossom, acacia, sage and honey. In the mouth stands out significantly excellent balance between sweetness, acidity and softness, well-supported by a very persistent aftertaste. Perfect to accompany the dessert, it is sublime in combination with refined jam tarts or apple charlotte.

My partner bought it on the internet.
I was impressed by its colour. Very yeasty and biscuity on the nose. The palate ends up with a bitter taste.
