2018 Gaia Wines Agiorgitiko Rosé 4-6h
- View: light pink with salmon tones.
- Nose: the nose is dominated by fruit flavors such as strawberry and wild cherry.
- Mouth: fruity flavors of wild black currant and Granada. Vibrant and refreshing with notes of wild cherry on the end.
VINEYARD: Gaia Wines.
GRAPES: 100% Agiorgitiko.
AGING fermentation took place with selected yeasts at controlled temperatures of 15 to 16 ° C and lasted two weeks.
PREPARATION: grapes were placed in cooling chambers where the temperature was rapidly reduced to 28 to 30 ° C to only 4 to 6 ° C in a few hours. After having been cooled, the grapes were destemmed, crushed and soaked in cold temperatures 8 ° C for about four to six hours (hence the name of the wine '4-6H'). the whole lot is then pressed and the must freewheeling and the first pressing juice retained.
