2008 Château Duhart Milon Rothschild Rouge
- View: pure red ruby.
- Nose: pure nose, very fruity and harmonious.
- Mouth: rich, balanced and elegant, finely fleshy entrance, with a very good density and length.
VINEYARD: floor low and thick haunches resting on marl dominated by limestone. The proximity of the estuary Girond allows a favorable thermal regulation to good ripening.
GRAPES: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot 30% 5% Cabernet franc.
PAIRING WINE: grilled chicken, fried veal sweetbreads, leg of lamb with beans.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16 ° C
Chateau Duhart-Milon is one of the few properties in the 1855 classification of Bordeaux to lack a true chateau; the wine is in fact finished in a large warehouse off a side street in Pauillac.
