Château Lafite Rothschild 2005

Red wine of Pauillac (France) produced by the winery Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. His ideal pairing would be with vegetables, grilled meat, cured cheeses and game birds and ground. Window more convenient consumption will be from now until 2030. We believe that this wine should be decanted. It should be served at a temperature of between 12 ° C and 16 ° C in a glass of Bordeaux type for better tasting.

Château Lafite Rothschild 2005

2005 brought the fourth consecutive season of low rainfall. However, symptoms of drought occurred early, in late May, which allowed adjust the foliage of the vineyard. Accented heats recorded in June and July declined as August progressed. The cooler nights allowed maintain proper acidity did not interfere with the slow road to maturity. A meteorologically unusual year that, despite everything, was healthy and very ripe grapes that kept its freshness.

Lafite Rothschild Pauillac 2016
We drank it with appetizers. I celebrated a special occasion with Lafite Rothschild Pauillac and my couple.
Cherry colour, low layer. Smells of hazelnuts and almonds. A surprisingly fresh wine.

It was too well-bodied for our meal. Nice chat with friends.
Dark cherry colour, medium opacity. Aromas of nuts. A little bit salty but it was very good.

I had it with cod. Very good. A Château Lafite Rothschild to drink among friendly people.
Twinkling cherry colour. Scents of raspberry. Ripe red fruit on the palate.

I made an order of wine by mail.
Slight red cherry tones . Smells good, like raspberry. Distinctively oxidized, it was spoiled.
