Description of 2006 Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse De Lalande
2006 Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse De Lalande (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot)
A reserved, subtle, well judged nose, although with a wealth of fruit hiding within. Plums, blackberries and more to be found here. Very elegant, supple, well composed, with a creamy texture. The tannins build through the palate although it maintains its elegant composition. Lovely forest fruit flavours. An elegant wine.
The winery Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande surrounds over 85 hectares of vineyards in the region of Saint Julien. Complexity, elegance and longevity have always been symbol of its kinds. James Laube, from Wine Spectator, named the Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande "Second Cru First Class" with good reason.More about the Winery
Reviews of 2006 Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse De Lalande
The 2011 vintage has a beautiful deep red dress and dark.
His nose is intense marked by very sustained, blackcurrant, violet, cinnamon, ...
His mouth is powerful, tannic with good density. It is balanced, silky and tasty. An explosion of flavors is felt from the attack to a deep and fruity finish.
Drink or keep: 2021 - 2034
PAIRING: beef fillet with mushroom duxelle. Cheese Abbey Belloc.
It has a very nice colour. Aromas of coffee, toffee. Toasted background in the mouth.
