TASTING NOTES:

  • View: intense cherry.
  • Nose: very deep aromas of berries, black fruit followed by spicy notes, roasted and sweet memories.
  • Mouth: medium body, silky and trickster, very fruity and easy to drink step.

APPELLATION: Penedes.

VINEYARD: Name: Mas la Plana. Payment located in Pacs del Penedès, southeast facing and 225 meters. Floors dark yellowish brown, characterized by being very deep, well drained and medium-textured, with low stone content. Low organic matter content, moderately high calcium carbonate and limestone active medium.

GRAPES: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.

AGEING: aged in French oak barrels (85% new) for 18 months.

PREPARATION: maceration 15 to 25 days. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks under temperature control for 7 days at between 25 and 28 °C.

PAIRING: the best recipes of meat, including game.

TEMPERATURE: 14-16 °C

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14.5%

Mas La Plana Cabernet Sauvignon which Miguel Torres in the wine world has established his name. This was in 1979, when this wine at the Olympiad du Vin in Paris all the great Bordeaux wines left behind. He comes from the same vineyard 29 hectares large.
