Château Carbonnieux Blanc 2016

Castle CARBONNIEUX 2016Château white CARBONNIEUX is a large great white wine classified growth of Pessac-Léognan. The vineyard, which covers a total area of 42 hectares of white grapes has a plot management in integrated pest management. The wine is aged in Bordeaux barrels (25% in new oak), with regular stirring. The 2016 vintage is a blend of 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Sémillon.À tasting, this wine develops a wide range of aromas, typical of the great Sauvignon Blancs in solar years and always with a signature Pessac Léognan. The sublime concentration of the grapes gives the wine rich and intense flavors. In the mouth, fat, acidity (freshness) and volume give an impression of complexity and fullness with very volatile final.

To drink with seafood from the Cantabrian Sea. A client gave it to me.
It has a strong colour considering that it is a Château Carbonnieux. It smells like honey. It tasted like wine.
