This red wine has a chestnut background. Very light, pleasant.
A wine to enjoy without any pretensions.

Château Haut Vigneau 2016

Reviews of other vintages of 2016 Château Haut Vigneau20081999

4/5

Light aromas of raisins. I liked it because it was as light as water.
For being a Pessac-Léognan, it seemed balanced and fine.

The matches quite good with game meats. I took 2 bottles of Chateau Haut Vigneau 1999 with a former partner.
Opaque red, nearly black. Pleasant scents of nuts. Well-balanced, with a good finish.
