4 /5

Castle Larrivet-Haut-Brion is located in the Pessac Léognan. The qualities of its essentially serious terroir allowed to apply the same methods as those of the great wines of the appellation. Philippe Gervoson, current owner decided to take a new step in the search for quality in 1996, using the services of the oenologist Michel Rolland. White fermented and are aged in new barrels. Red long macerate to promote optimal extraction of ripe fruit.

A Sémillon with a nice colour. Smells like honey. Château Larrivet Haut-Brion Blanc is a full bodied wine with a viscous mouthfeel.
I ordered it with Chinese rice 3 delights.
This 2015 was the recommended by a friends of us.

Very sweet smell of honey. The Château Larrivet Haut-Brion Blanc is a well bodied wine .
One of the wines with more character of Pessac-Léognan.
