Château Latour-Martillac - Pessac-Léognan 2010

This Cuvée is a Grand Cru Classé in the AOC Pessac-Leognan. Bodied red wine with soft tannins and full. Aromas of coffee, small black fruit, toast. . . Definitely a wine

Château Latour-Martillac - Pessac-Léognan 2010

Red colour with purplish hints. Delicious aromas of cherry. Good balance of sweetness and acidity.
I drank it accompanied by a snack.
I have a friend in Bordeaux, he recommended it to me.

Château Latour-Martillac belongs to Kressmann family since 1871. It owes its name to the tower located in the courtyard, the remains of an ancient fort in Martillac. Renowned for its white wines, the Château Latour-Martillac red appeared following the acquisition of the property by Albert Kressmann, in the 1930s.
The 45 hectares of this Pessac Léognan span of Pyrenean gravel. The grape varieties of red is composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot.
The wines are aged in barrels (30% new) for 18 months, with the guidance of Denis Dubourdieu and using Valérie Vialard.
