TASTING NOTES:

  • Color: Château L'Évangile 1981 has a dark coat, dense and deep with purple.
  • Nose: fine and fresh, with a predominance of fruit (raspberry and blackcurrant) and subtle and elegant touches of mocha and coffee.
  • Palate: The palate is broad, with fruity notes and delicate tannins. Palate durable, powerful and velvety thanks to the maturity of the tannins. The ending leaves a feeling of spaciousness creamy.

I bought a box of this 2017 on the internet.
It's red with a violet edge. Coffee aromas. The taste was like fresh grapes.

Outstanding cherry colour with a low layer. The main aromas were coffee and wood.On the palate was quite thick.
The best wine in combination with grilled foie.
A wine to enjoy with a friend.
