TASTING NOTES OF 1997 Château L'Évangile:

VINTAGE 1997: The year brought very dry and hot weather until mid-April and May, which resulted in an exceptional precocity of the growing season, with some tropical notes during the summer months. I bought a box of this 2017 on the internet.
It's red with a violet edge. Coffee aromas. The taste was like fresh grapes.

Outstanding cherry colour with a low layer. The main aromas were coffee and wood.On the palate was quite thick.
