Château L'Évangile 2014

Nature has endowed Pomerol an exceptional terroir that earned him becoming a prestigious appellation (Petrus head), despite its small size. The pomerols combine roundness and flexibility in real power, and can be drunk fairly young.

Château L'Évangile 2014

The Château l'Evangile wine is red ruby colour, and has reddish brown edges. Smells too much like cedar wood or pine tree. Strong flavours of red fruits.
It wasn't well paired with food.
I drank a few glasses at a meal with work colleagues..

I bought a box of this 2017 on the internet.
It's red with a violet edge. Coffee aromas. The taste was like fresh grapes.

Château l'Evangile Château L'évangile 2017
Outstanding cherry colour with a low layer. The main aromas were coffee and wood.On the palate was quite thick.
The best wine in combination with grilled foie.
A wine to enjoy with a friend.
