It's Vieux Château Certan's purpose to produce wine in its purest and most natural form. From the moment the first grapes ferment until the bottling of the wine, no further products as yeast are added. This results in an excellent Vieux Château Certan 2014, which year after year receives great evaluations and critics from world wide renowned wine experts.
The 2014 vintage has been perfect for the grapes' development and ripening. A cold winter was followed by a warm spring and hot and dry summer. The rather low yields delievered small berries, that were well nourished by healthy vine canopies with maximum photosynthesis potential. 2014 brought a wine that is ripe, tannic, balanced with amazing fruit and wonderful acidity.

Reviews of 2014 Vieux Château Certan
Vieux Château Certan Pomerol 1990
Brillant ruby red colour, high layer. This Vieux Château Certan Pomerol had good scents of red fruits. A very powerful red.
I enjoyed it with a beef dish.
Vieux Château Certan Pomerol 2016
A wine with a high layer and a nice cherry colour. Concentrated aroma of red fruit jam. This Vieux Château Certan seemed fairly fresh.
