2017 Croft Vintage (Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz)

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: Ink-colored core, which fades towards the edges in a beautiful magenta color.
  • Nose: Mature and voluptuous, dense and deep; juicy notes of black currant, black cherry and raspberry, which blend into hints of eucalyptus, flowers, sage, mint, grapefruit and spices.
  • Mouth: Full-bodied, concentrated and dense; firm tannins well integrated into the dense and velvety structure

It had a deep colour at first sight. A fortified fairly astringent.
Croft Vintage pairs very well with a spicy fish .
Wine and friends always pairs very well.

We drank it in a trip with another couple.
Nice colour. Despite all this Croft Vintage seemed fairly fresh.
So special with fish.
