Kopke 10 Year Old Port (Port)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: Kopke 10 Anos Matured In Wood has a warm red brown not dark yet
- Nose: Fresh and lively aroma, hints of acidity and freshness. Lots of red fruits, strawberry, raspberry. Sweet cherry. No smells age (younger smelling). In the distance, some wood and mint, but also some licorice. Nose classy. Very sweet, with an added bonus. The influence of the wood, which adds to the character and does not let the sweetness dominates (the nose).
- Mouth: sweet acidity, but also sufficient to counteract the sweetness. Lots of strawberry and raspberry again, this time with the acidity added by the currants. This has a very pleasant and harmonious taste great.
Grapes: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca
WINERY: Sogevinus

Kopke Tawny 10 Years
The wine was fine, but we paired it wrongly.
I usually preserve Kopke Tawny 10 Years for special people.
