Taylor's Vintage 1994

Intense ruby colour, now just beginning to open out. Rich, complete, multidimensional nose, displaying elements of both youth and maturity. Aromas of ripe berry fruit, liquorice and butterscotch with scented violet notes. The palate is now quite smooth and round with velvety well integrated tannins and masses of rich figgy fruit flavour. Warm mellow finish full of rich jammy fruit.

Taylors Vintage 1994

For many, Taylor's is the archetypal Port house and its wines the quintessential Ports. Established over three centuries ago in 1692, Taylor's is one of the oldest of the founding Port houses. It is dedicated entirely to the production of Port wine and in particular to its finest styles. As an independent company whose success is inseparable from that of the Douro Valley, Taylor remains committed to protecting this beautiful region by practicing viticulture which is economically and environmentally sustainable. The future of the Douro Valley and its unique environment is also the future of Port, one of the world’s great classic wines and an irreplaceable part of human heritage.
Intense purple, opaque, subtle, elegant and balanced, with a raspberry and cassis aroma. A complex and intense wine but quite harmonious and with a perfect balance. Palate rich in chocolate and berries.

El Oporto, uno de los grandes vinos históricos del mundo
One of the classic wines of Porto and, like all of them, should expect to reach a certain maturity in the bottle and is decantarlos advisable. Wine very complex and many-sided that deserves to enjoy quietly and without hurry. Marida with blue cheeses, but perfectly can be taken alone.

Very rough on the palate.
It still needs to evolve.

Taylor's Port Taylor Vintage 2012
Buying wine as Taylor's Port Taylor Vintage 2012 at Uvinum and will not regret it.
Good colour. Compared to other Douro it was rough.
