Compact, elegant and concentrated. With an intense black ink color and a nose full of dark blackberry and blackcurrant fruit. Gradually opens to a full nose of herbal and spicy notes.
- Winemaker: Luisa Borges
- Winemaking: The grapes come from one single vineyard, they were fermented with foot treading in lagares. After fortification with grape brandy, the wine aged in inox tanks. In 2013 we bottled this fantastic wine.
- Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Roriz.
- Food Pairing: Vintage Ports are after meal drinks. Take them with cheese like Stilton or Gorgonzola. But you can also incorporate them into a meal, combining for instance a Steak au Poivre with a young Vintage.
- Store and Serve Advices: Should be opened two hours before serving and decanted. Serve between 17º and 18º C. Store the bottle on its side, in a cool, dry and dark place.
