TASTING NOTES Vista Alegre Colheita 1997 :
- View: pronounced reddish, brown shades.
- Nose: balanced, delicate, elegant aromas of caramel, vanilla, chocolate, honey and dried fruit aroma.
- Mouth: countersink, delicate flavor, semi-sweet and long finish.
APPELLATION: Oporto.
VINEYARD: Vallegre
GRAPES: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Sousão, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cao.

Vallegre
Vallegre is the fusion of two wineyards named "Valle Longo" and "Vista Alegre" in the Portuguese region of Douro. The property itself is owned by a family in its 5th generation by now.

It had an intense colour. Passes easily across the palate, smooth and very nice.
This Vista Alegre Colheita was a very good pairing for the desserts.
Very light flavour. Quite light, but was ok for my taste.
We had it with a tart.
