Manyetes 2014

With a red cherry colour, this wine has subtle and complex aromas of black fruit walls, sweet spices, roasting, smoked and toasty aromas as well as intense mineral notes. In the mouth, it is smooth, supple and delicate with a lot of freshness and depth.

Clos Mogador Manyetes VI de Vila Gratallops 2014

Rene Barbier Manyetes carries the "Vi Villa Gratallops" on the label, because it is Carinena vineyards in the village of Gratallops. The vineyard is located almost 400 meters and is only 10 Ha large. The Manyetes is a 100% Carignan which 22 months or the best (new) European oak has been allowed to ripen. The Clos Mogador Manyetes bottled beginning in May 2016 and released until the end of 2016. The bright purple-colored Manyetes has mixed a complex nose of wet slate, graphite and peat with blueberries, violets and licorice flavors in a very harmonious way. The taste is delicious rustic, with polished tannins, good acidity, pure flavors and a very long finish. This is the brother of the more famous Clos Mogador us but this is mainly because there are only 4104 bottles are made but this brother of the Clos Mogador is just as beautiful.
