Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc Te Koko Marlborough 2016

The Te Koko comes from some of the oldest vineyards of Cloudy Bay Sauvignon cultivated, located within the sub-zones of the famous Marlborough wine region New Zealand: Rapaura, Renwick and Brancott. From the grapes produced by these vineyards it is possible to obtain wines with a high concentration of aromas, elegant and fruity distinctly. The sophisticated style of Cloudy Bay does not follow the practice with regard to the vinification of the Sauvignon Blanc. After manual harvesting, which takes place in the first week of April and a soft pressing of the grapes, the juice is fermented in French oak barrels by indigenous yeasts. After a partial malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in barrels on the lees. At the straw view, the nose offers hints of grapefruit and white peach, filled with lemon cream and beeswax. In the mouth it has a lively entrance opens to a fresh and balanced taste, with notes of candied fruit and oak on a pleasantly smoky and floral background. Perfect with shellfish, is indicated in the company of the dishes of Asian cuisine.

I do not know the exact colour, it seemed a dark yellow type white. Smells of banana and pear.Taste of blackberries and wild fruits.
Quite light wine to drink with a lamb and rice stew.
I enjoyed with a good friend.

Cloudy Bay Te Koko Marlborough 2013
Drinking it with friends is always a pleasure.
I think the cellar makes a very nice colour white wine. In my opinion, the Cloudy Bay Te Koko Marlborough smelled like mango, banana and pear. Very light and pleasent wine in the mouth.
I like it with fish.

Cloudy Bay Te Koko
There is a clear yellow with copper colored notes. On the nose, this is a white wine with aromas of acacia flowers . An oil-textured wine.
It was a special meal and served with sea food.
To drink with friends.
