In the beginning the Alión 2015 was considered a "second class" wine and was the ace in the hole of the Vega Sicilia wineries; however, as time went on and it began to obtain recognition among its consumers, it managed to position itself as an authentic wine with its own stamp: a renowned red wine in the Ribera del Duero.

The Alión 2015 comes from vineyards that are between 25 and 30 years old and that exalt the richness of the Tinto FIno variety. The harvest is manual and a careful selection of the fruit is made to guarantee the best possible quality. The end result is an elegant, intense, and balanced red that will perfectly accompany your barbecue and cooked meats.

Spicy hints (vanilla, nutmeg, pepper), a note of snuff, soft hints of cocoa, a subtle mineral and light balsamic touch. Good tour with a very fruity, balanced with wood, very subtle and spicy memories. Step tasty, meaty and expressive. Sweet and fine tannins, still something blotters. Good acidity that deepens and defines. long and very persistent finish.

Alion 2015

A bright deep red color with streaks of violet. Full and elegant on the nose, with a wide range of aromas, such as vanilla, ripe fruits, compote and syrups. The palate is opulent and elegant with harmonious tannins providing a subtle backbone to the wine; great aromatic persistence in the mouth. Designed to drink well on release, the tannins will nevertheless support at least 10 years further ageing.

A powerful wine, structured and serious. The Vega Sicilia eonologue of this wine works like any other, with passion and expertise. A wine that has become one of the great wines of Spain in a very short time.
