2012 Antigva Reserva (Tempranillo)


  • View: dark cherry red color.
  • Nose: Aromatic notes of toasted wood, very ripe wild fruits, spicy hints of spice and sweet touches. With a prominent aroma of licorice.
  • Mouth: Intense flavor of tannins, with a warm and dense palate, has fruit reminiscences, wood and spices.

APPELLATION: Ribera del Duero.

VINEYARD: Antigva.

GRAPES: Tempranillo.

AGEING: This wine is aged for 36 months in French oak barrels and bottled.

PREPARATION: The grapes are pressed and must macerated for 24 hours at warm temperatures. Then fermented in stainless steel tanks, using natural yeast. The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and bottled still añejándose the remaining months.

WINE PAIRING: Roasted red meats, stews, game birds, pork chops, lamb, mushroom risotto, sauteed vegetables, ripe cheeses, meats, sausages, pasta sauces red.

Antigva Reserva 2012

Shows an intense ruby ​​red colour red. Smell of coffee or wood.Chocolate and toffee flavour.
I do not recommend pairing this red of Antigva with meat.
I like sharing this red Ribera del Duero with someone special.
