Description of 2014 Matarromera Reserva
2014 Matarromera Reserva (Tempranillo)
TASTING NOTES OF 2014 Matarromera Reserva:
- View: purple tones, slightly edging icing.
- Nose: cocoa perfect harmony of black, slate pencil lead tones, vivid roasted coffee, cedar wood, toffee and caramel with sour black blueberry fruit.
- Mouth: good structure with intense skeleton of noble tannins, complex flavors, again rugged black chocolate, roasted coffee crisp feel, warmth of soft shades of lavender, fresh and sharp spicy clove and licorice stick. velvety, long and very elegant finish.
APPELLATION: Ribera del Duero.
VINEYARD: Picon de Zurita, the Celadillas, the Solanas in Olivares de Duero.
GRAPES: 100% Tempranillo.
AGEING: 18 months in American oak barrels from Missouri, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Minnesota.
PREPARATION: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks for a period of between 10 and 14 days at 26 °C.
PAIRING: pates, red meats, roasts and game dishes.
TEMPERATURE: 16 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14.5%

- On the nose, it is round, elegant and very complex, showing a complex bouquet, offering hints of vainilla, cinammon, cocoa, leather, liquorice, calcareus mineral and differnt and complex red fruit.
- On the palate, it has a very elegant structure, well balanced, with sweet tannin and long lingering finish.
- View: intense cardinal, purple hues, very covered layer, clean and bright.
- Nose: frankly, elegant, very complex, very ripe black fruit, red fruit range strawberry and blackcurrant, spicy aromas of cinnamon, vanilla, coffee, licorice, black chocolate, leather, cocoa and roasted.
- Mouth: elegant skeleton sweet tannins, body and elegance, a measure acidity, existing flavors in the nose, an excellent complexity, long finish, harmonious, elegant and persistent.

AGEING: 18 months in American oak barrels and French. And another 18 months in bottle prior to marketing.
