VINEYARD: Domain Atauta. The winery is located in the heart of Valle de Atauta (Ribera del Duero). The vineyards have an average age between 90 and 100 years and presents an altitude of 1,000 meters moor area. The climate of the area is continental with Mediterranean features, characterized by long, cold winters and hot summers too short. In the plots dominates a sandy soil on limestone that allows the grapes get great maturity and poise.

Parada de Atauta is a red wine 15% Alc. prepared by the Domino Atauta winery in the Valley Atauta (Soria) and within the O.D. Ribera del Duero. The Parada de Atauta is made with 100% grape Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), obtained from vineyards controlled located on sandy soils, with pebbles and on limestone, about 85 years on average, situated between 980 and 1050 m above sea level, cultivated with the utmost respect, using only organic products and subjected to extreme continental climate. I will be collected grape manually and quickly moves to the winery, where selected, destemmed, squeezed and transferred to cement tanks and stainless steel, where macerated and fermented at a controlled temperature. After the fermentation, the wine is pressed and moved to oak vats, where malolactic fermentation. - Tasting notes: Nice cherry red with ruby ​​rim and violet, intense, clean and bright red. High intensity nose in which highlights a ripe red and black fruit with floral notes. A warm, spicy, open nose with intense black fruit, juicy black cherries, mocha and baked earth characters. The palate has a good structure, concentrated fruit, cedar and minerality with perfumed violets to the finish.

TASTING NOTES OF 2013 Parada de Atauta:
- View: cherry.
- Nose: very generous in fruit and mineral aromas of cassis, earthy notes, snuff, toast, and a subtle background of candy.
