Vega Sicilia Valbuena N5 Bodegas Ribera del Duero 2014

Opaque ruby. Spice- and mineral-accented aromas of dark berries, cherry pit and potpourri, with a toasty topnote. Minerally, incisive and sweet on the palate, offering smoky cherry and blackcurrant flavors complicated by vanilla, mocha and licorice. Shows impressive power and vivacity on the youthfully tannic finish, with the smoke and spice notes strongly repeating.

Vega Sicilia Valbuena Año 2014

- vinified from grapes of younger vines and (hence the 5.º) almost five years in barrel and in bottle matured, the little brother of the Unico presented with especially lots of juicy fruit
- Nevertheless, the slightly ethereal expression with the fine balsamic notes and velvety tannins reveal the real Vega Sicilia immediately
- Allergens: contains sulfites
