Rice for Sushi 500g are authentic 500g organic rice for sushi. Directions: Put 1 cup of rice (250g) for Sushi in cold water and drain. Transfer it to a saucepan with cold water (340ml or ½ cup), let it rest for 30 minutes and bring to a boil. Once the water starts to boil, cover and reduce heat for 10-12 minutes or until water is absorbed. Remove from heat and leave covered for 10 minutes.
