Description of 2010 Château Angélus

2010 Château Angélus (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot)

If you ask Hubert de Bouard what you think about this harvest, he will tell you that some people would like to compare it to 1947 or 2005, but he, personally, consider this Château Angélus 2010 as the best wine he has done in 25 years!

Château Angélus 2010

Good wine and good company.
Wonderful cherry colour and high layer. A tender berry smell. Not the sweetest wine, but kind of.
I had it at a barbecue party.

1Er Grand Cru Classeé B Château Angélus 2010

4 /5

Ripe cherry colour, medium opacity. I cleary noticed toasty notes. Balanced in the mouth.
A good red to finish the meal properly.
My best friend from Saint-Emilion recommended it to me.

As nearly all of them this one shows also a cherry colour. Scents of raspberry. This Angélus Saint-Emilion seemed fairly fresh.
It wasn't well paired with food, but the wine was good and tasty.
It was served at a wedding.
