Château Dassault 2013

Château Dassault 2013 has a nose full of freshness and jammy. A beautiful field and a beautiful balance for this wine. The tannins are powerful but structured and fluxes. A great success.
According Bettane & Desseauve: "Good value: Regular as clockwork, there are Château Dassault seats with beautiful every year Good elegant and firm definition, precise red fruit, tannin well drawn, longer.."
"Lots of blueberry and dark-chocolate character. Medium to full body with very good fruit in the center palate and a medium finish" by James Suckling "

Château Dassault 2013

It smelled of oak. A surprising fruity wine.
The price-quality ratio is unbeatable.

Château Dassault Grand Cru Classé Saint Emilion 2013

The smell was strong and I liked it. The flavour of this makes me happy.
It was still a little too early to taste it.

Château Dassault 2013

I tried it at the usual restaurant.
Red ruby colour with reddish brown edges. It smells toasty. Perhaps I noticed it too acidic.

Château Dassault 2013

The Château Dassault Grand Cru Classé presents itself very appealing, in an incredibly deep, almost black, heart cherry red robe, with dark purple rim. Also, the bouquet is deeply, classic, rich and complex, with hints of dark fruits, oriental spices, liquorice and gingerbread notes. Dense, concentrated and powerful palate, with notable, mature and beautifully integrated tannins before the infinitely long finish using appears.

Reviews about Château Dassault 2012

Formerly named Castle Couperie, this Saint-Emilion Grand Cru renamed in 1955 when Marcel Dassault made the acquisition, which he calls "heart suddenly thought of." After a draconian work both on 28 hectares of vines in the cellar, Château Dassault becomes Classified Growth in 1969, reconfirmed in 2006.
The property is now in the hands of grand-son of the purchaser, Laurent Dassault, supported by Laurence Brun. With a team of enthusiasts, the vineyard has a policy of continuous improvement, closely watched by the famous consultant oenologist Michel Rolland.
The vines of the vineyard is composed of 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Château Dassault 2012 will be played the card of seduction this year. On generous raspberry, cassis and blackberry, it presents the opulence, the body and a smooth finish. Certainly one of the revelations of this vintage.

A red which I enjoyed with my friends.
Its intense colour attracted me. Smell like nuts, like it. On the palate reminiscent of leather, slightly burned vanilla.
The combination of this Château Dassault and meat did not seem appropriate, best pair it with fish.

I liked sharing this wine with someone special.
Cherry, middle layer. Sensual aromas of cherries. It felt too acidic of a Saint-Emilion.
It was served while having an appetizer.
