Château Faugères 2009

Everything Silvio Denz touches turns to gold after perfumes, crystal, his involvement in the winery door again off The businessman bought the Château Faugères in 2005, a vast vineyard of 80 hectares Bearing heart to carry on this land east of the coast of Saint Emilion a raw level of the best, he raised the level of demand selections and invested wisely

Offering new and spectacular facilities offered by the new winery designed by architect Mario Bota, this is a brilliant success Faugères with a silky tannin more assertive than in the past

This wine boasts a concentration of 14.5% natural alcohol, and benefits from the advice of both Stefan von Neuperg and Michel Rolland

Full-bodied, with round, velvety tannins and lots of ripe fruit, juicy and delicious fondant
Its precision and balance make rather a wine Serve in 2013 and 2025

At sight, it offered an intense cherry colour. Smells good, licorice and violet aromas. Quite sweet.
We paired it with a wide range of tapas.
I found it at a wine tasting.

Strong scents of coffee and toffee. It was harsh in the mouth for a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru.
Château Faugères, a wine with body and soul.

I bought Château Faugères on the website of the winery, but it wasn't cheap.
It seems like avery intense red ruby colour. Dense aroma of red fruit marmalade. A Saint-Emilion with a very good acidity.

Château Faugères Grand Cru Saint-Émilion 2010
I went with work colleagues to Château Cap de Faugères and we taste it there.
Mixture of red and brown colour. Good coffee aromas. A wine with good body.
This Château Faugères Grand Cru Saint-Émilion does not need food to accompany.
