- View: 2009 Château Faugères is clear and bright, with a deep garnet color and the presence of dense ink color and tears slowly fall.
- Nose: The nose is clean and developing, showing medium intensity aromas of dark ripe plums, truffles, cedar, clove, licorice, nuts snuff.
- Mouth: The wine is dry in the mouth with medium acidity. It has high thick tannins and a high degree of hot alcohol. It has a full body and pronounced intensity flavors of ripe black plums, black cherries, truffles, licorice, cedar, clove and snuff.
Grapes: 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon
