Château la Gaffelière 2016

I opened the bottle for my best friend.
It had a deep colour at first sight. Smells of wood. Softer than 2016.
I enjoyed it with a beef dish.

4/5

It paired well with the food. In a tasting course we had the pleasure to try.
This red one was lighter that I had expected. I would highlight the aromas of tobacco. Drinkable.

I like to surprise my family with this wine.
Has a strong colour. In my opinion, the most noticeable smell is raspberry. Fleshy, smoothy.
We had it with a deer stew.

It wasn't well paired with food, but the wine was good and tasty. It was served at a wedding.
A Merlot with a nice colour. Smells like cedar wood or pine tree. Very light, pleasent.
