Description · Château Larcis Ducasse

2008 Château Larcis Ducasse (Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon)

  • Vista: A deep, dark fruit here, with notes of black cherry cola and style.
  • Nose: Big, rich, creamy, round, wide mouth, with lots of dry well. Lots of things, lots of meat too.
  • Palate: The extraction is quite heavy, but maybe it's the fruit intensity and take this forward? It ends well. It will be good to see this in two years.

Château Larcis Ducasse

Ducasse's history dates back to Larcis eighteenth century documents of 1777 we reported the existence of the property, and also clearly indicate that he had wine on the farm. The wines were purchased by businessman Pierre Beylot Libourne, in the same family that established Chateau Peyraud....

Château Larcis Ducasse 2008

- View: especially stands out from its peers by a very aromatic nose, pure, noble and deep enough
- Palate: Finely luscious wine which offers a high quality touch

Average on 20: 16. 5
Average rating out of 100: 90
16. Rated 5 in 2009-04 in barrels at the castle

My best score making this wine en primeur
This vintage is a great success on this property
Meanwhile, the general expression remains discreet, but the length is beautiful, refined tannin grain and subtle taste
Tasted three times always with great happiness
New: a peg system, similar to that of Pavia Macquin was set up with the 2008 vintage.

Château Larcis Ducasse 2008

A wine with an intense soft nose with a nice impression of the Cabernet Franc, besides the softness and elegance of ripe Merlot. The elegant ripe tannins make a nice harmonious finish after.

Château Larcis Ducasse 2008

Plenty of sweet fruitcake, black currant, kirsch, forest floor and earthy characteristics; full-bodied with sweet tannins and a long finish

Château Larcis Ducasse Rouge 2008

This beautiful property occupies the end of the famous coast Pavia, in the municipality of Saint-Laurent-des-Combes. The southern exposure is wonderful and the vineyard planted in terraces is worthy of a Premier Grand Cru. Since 1945, Helen Gratiot and his son, Jacques-Olivier, preserved the single typical of this region, producing a wine of great race, riddled nobly and surprising strength in lesser vintages.

Larcis Ducasse Saint-Emilion 2017
Nice cherry smell. In the mouth it it tastes like licorice.
One of the best I've ever tasted.

Combination of red fruit aromas and green pepper. I noticed some good roughness in the mouth.
It is important to serve at the proper temperature.

My partner bought it in a store.
Red ruby colour with reddish brown edges. Aromas of raisins. It tasted good to me.

I enjoyed with a good friend of mine.
A very dark red and rather opaque. This red wine has a chestnut background. It was harsh in the mouth for a Saint-Emilion.
We drank it just like that, without food to accompany.
