Description of 2008 Château Larcis Ducasse
2008 Château Larcis Ducasse (Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon)
- Vista: A deep, dark fruit here, with notes of black cherry cola and style.
- Nose: Big, rich, creamy, round, wide mouth, with lots of dry well. Lots of things, lots of meat too.
- Palate: The extraction is quite heavy, but maybe it's the fruit intensity and take this forward? It ends well. It will be good to see this in two years.
How to serve
Ducasse's history dates back to Larcis eighteenth century documents of 1777 we reported the existence of the property, and also clearly indicate that he had wine on the farm. The wines were purchased by businessman Pierre Beylot Libourne, in the same family that established Chateau Peyraud. During the nineteenth century the estate was divided in two, but later reunited a few years later. The property formed a reputation for fine wines, winning a gold medal at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1867, at which time he was in family hands Ducasse.More about the Winery
Reviews of 2008 Château Larcis Ducasse
One of the best I've ever tasted.
Larcis Ducasse Saint-Emilion 2017
It is important to serve at the proper temperature.
Red ruby colour with reddish brown edges. Aromas of raisins. It tasted good to me.
