Elaboration of 2011 Château Monbousquet Blanc
2011 Château Monbousquet Blanc
Producer: Château Monbousquet
The origins of Château Monbusquet go back to 1540. Although the Château changed hands many times over the centuries, there are two significant periods in its history. From 1682 to 1826, Monbousquet was owned by the illustrious de Carles family. The present Château was mostly built in 1779. Relatively small at the time, the vineyard nevertheless had a fine reputation. Its fame grew in the 19th century, under the short, but dynamic, ownership of Count de Vassal-Montviel. The Count owned Monbousquet from 1858 until 1877, enlarging the vineyard to its current size, thereby signicantly increasing production.More about the Winery
Reviews of 2011 Château Monbousquet Blanc
It had a dark yellow colour. Smells really good, like banana and lychees. The Monbousquet Blanc Bordeaux tastes dry.
Monbousquet Blanc Bordeaux 2016
It has a strong colour considering that it is a Château Monbousquet. Clear memories of white flowers. In the palate is warm and dense.
We tried it with Milanese rice.
