Château Pavie Decesse 2001Grand cru St Emilion - Vineyard Persia "This vineyard of 23 acres acquired by Gerard and Chantal Perse in 1997, is located on the limestone plateau facing south above the Château Pavie This blend consists of 90%. Merlot and 10% Cabernet franc (from vines averaging 41 years) was cultured at 30 hectoliters per hectare. After maceration for five weeks, the wine was aged in oak barrels 100% new new and bottled unfiltered or filtered (as all wines Persia). A color ink / ruby / purple comes with rich aromas of Asian spices, soy, black truffles, licorice, espresso and intense fruit of cherry and blackberry. It has high intensity, a full medium body, low acidity and high tannins. "95/100 Parker" loads of berries, vanilla, spice and floral character . Full-bodied, velvety tannins and long rich finish. Very impressive. "93/100 James Suckling of Wine SpectatorAttention: this bottle does not fit into the wooden box offered at the checkout.
