Description of 2014 Château Trapaud Magnum
2014 Château Trapaud Magnum (Merlot and Cabernet Franc)
- View: deep cherry, cherry reflections.
- Nose: delicate, fruity, subtle aromas of peony, light aromas of violet, licorice, light aromas of cherry, subtle aromas of raspberry, black pepper, cocoa and woody aromas.
- Mouth: fresh, generous, notes of peony, violet notes, notes of cherry, tight tannin, round, slightly mineral, structured body, good intensity, good length.
APPELLATION: Saint Emilion Grand Cru.
GRAPES: 65% Merlot, Cabernet Franc 25% and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
AGEING: aged in new barrels of wine, two wine vats and cement.
PREPARATION: prepared according to the precepts of biological agriculture. mechanical harvesting, use of selection tables, complete stemming, fermentation thermoregulated, pressing and malolactic fermentation.
PAIRING: Sirloin lung, paupiettes veal, roasted quail, guinea fowl, cheeses dry pasta.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-17ºC
