Winemaker's notes from Wine.com
The ancient Pavie vineyard- going back at least as far as the 4th century AD - is located on the southern part of the Côte de Saint-Émilion. Thanks to the excelent terroir, it is one of the top 2 châteaux in this part of the appellation (along with Ausone) as well as one of the finest in all Bordeaux. Pavie has gone from strengh to strengh since Gérard Perse arrived en 1998.More about the Winery
