Château Cos D'Estournel 2011

Château Cos d'Estournel was born in vineyards located in the heart of AOC Saint-Estèphe, in the renowned wine region of Bordeaux. This wine was designated among Deuxièmes Crus, in the famous classification of Bordeaux wines of 1855, just after the best wines in the world for quality. It is produced mainly with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested and carefully selected by hand. At the entrance in the cellar, the clusters through a refrigerated tunnel in order to slow down the oxidation; as a result of the grapes macerate at a 7-9ºC temperature for about 7 days. The wort is transferred into stainless steel tanks exclusively by gravity and the fermentation takes place at low temperature, so as not to extract the harshest tannins. Then the wine is aged in barrels for a long time almost entirely new French oak before being imbottigliato.Lo Château Cos d'Estournel has a brilliant and intense ruby red color. The nose opens with intense aromas of ripe cherry, blueberry and cassis, enriched by elegant hints of licorice, chocolate and coffee. The palate is concentrated and powerful, medium-bodied, with round tannins and a hint of incense characteristic and unique among the Bordeaux wines. Perfect to accompany red meats, game and poultry, this Bordeaux wine is ideal in combination with Asian cuisine, the tuna and the mushroom-based dishes.

Saint-Estèphe Château Cos Destournel 2Ème Cru Classé 2011

Red with violet edges. If you are a fan of red fruit compote, then this wine is perfect for you. Fleshy. Chocolate coulant taste.
It went well with our meal.
I drank this 2011 with my co-workers.

Cos D'Estournel 2011

The aromas of white flowers dominate. Its density liked me.
If you like wood-flavoured wines, this is perfect.

Smells good, licorice and violet aromas. In the mouth it is thick enough.
If you like powerful wines, you already know.

Cos d'Estournel 2014
We did not choose the proper food, but the wine was good. Brought by a friend and I opened it with him.
Cherry red. Aromas of dried fruits. I left the bottle opened for a couple of days and got spoiled.

Château Cos d Estournel 2013
Cherry blossom colour, very opaque. In the nose, red fruit and green pepper. The main flavour is coffee.
A red that suits good with moussaka.
I drank it with a business client.
