Château Cos d'Estournel 2016

Like a novelist who maintains the same style in different novels, a Grand Cru wine can express a certain style in different years. Cos d'Estournel has become, in the eyes of lovers of fine wines, the archetype of a certain style of masculine elegance in which immense power is combined with grace and smoothness. Impressive when young for the intensity of its structure and explosive fruit, Cos d'Estournel evolves slowly to arrive, when completely mature.

Château Cos d'Estournel 2016

Smells good, licorice and violet aromas. In the mouth it is thick enough.
If you like powerful wines, you already know.

Château Cos d'Estournel 2016

- Wine Advocate Robert Parker in April 2014: '' The 2011 Cos dEstournel Exhibits a dense ruby / purple color and sweet, toasty, oaky notes inter mixed with floral and forest floor characteristics
- The complex aromatics suggest this is a top success in 2011
- In the mouth, the wine is slightly more compact than one would find in a great vintage, color: such as 2009 and 2010, but it has impressive richness for the vintage as well as light to moderate tannin and admirable purity
- It will benefit from 2-5 years of cellaring, and shoulderstand keep for 15-20 years
- Only 30% of the production which Utilized for Cos DEstournel, a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc
- '' allergens: contains sulfites

Château Cos d'Estournel 2016

The 61 parcels that make up the Cos d'Estournel allow the development of a wine of great complexity. This vintage 2016 shows still mysterious and slow to reveal its charms. Yet no doubt that this great year will not lie to the legend of Cos d'Estournel: a powerful wine, elegant, deep and wide, which offers potential for remarkable care!

Cos d'Estournel 2014
We did not choose the proper food, but the wine was good. Brought by a friend and I opened it with him.
Cherry red. Aromas of dried fruits. I left the bottle opened for a couple of days and got spoiled.

Château Cos d Estournel 2013
Cherry blossom colour, very opaque. In the nose, red fruit and green pepper. The main flavour is coffee.
A red that suits good with moussaka.
I drank it with a business client.

Cos D'Estournel Blanc 2013
I would not recommend to drink it alone. It's best when paired. It was a gift for my brother and he enjoyed it very much.
It's a red with an opaque tone. It has a strong caramel smell. Like its coffee flavours.
