Château Cos Labory 2011

Classic red cherry color of a 2011. I cleary noticed toasty notes. The 2011 taste was evident in the mouth.
The best wine for a fish dish, like tuna.
I like sharing this red Saint-Estèphe with someone special.

The Château Cos Labory is located in the Saint-Estèphe appellation. His vineyard, set on the hill of Cos has a serious quaternary soil and a remarkable drainage, which give this great red wine an exceptional color. The name comes from its location and the name of François Labory, wine producer and owner until 1845. After several successions, the Audoy family acquired the estate in 1959. Over the years many investments have enabled property modernize while preserving the richness of its wines. The Château Cos Labory offers wines of Saint-Estèphe fair, balanced and sincere.

Aromas of strawberry, raspberry and some berries. It had a correct astringency.

The Château Cos Labory exudes aromas of violets. Light on the palate.
In this Château Cos Labory 2015, the wood dominates the wine flavours.

Dense aroma of red fruit marmalade. Too acidic for my taste.
Château Cos Labory 2014, more than decent wine.
