Château Haut Marbuzet 2009

Soft and rounded, very plush with unashamed exotic fruit interlacing the red-berries, hints of honey and marmalade; full-bodied with grippy tannins, very toasty at the moment with the new oak dominating, but good balance on the finish, and the persistency is linear but long

Château Haut Marbuzet Rouge 2009

Dark, intense, beautiful, brilliant. Nice nose spicy, fruity, fresh ripe and aromatic. Entry into mouth distinguished. The wine develops rounded mid-palate on a medium body. It ends aromatic, sweet and a long strand of tannins barely forested. Normal length. JM Quarin

Reviews about Château Haut Marbuzet 2013

Château Haut-Marbuzet 2013 already expressed very well. A spirit of greed, a remarkable fruity, this 2013 is really appealing. A beautiful silky texture.

Reviews about Château Haut Marbuzet 2012

Duboscq: this is the name that success must associate the famous Château Haut-Marbuzet. Hervé, father and Henry's son, strive for more than 60 years to share an exceptional product.
Château Haut-Marbuzet is located in the municipality of Saint-Estèphe, where it covers about 65 hectares. Its location, between the Chateaux Cos d'Estournel and Montrose, offers him an ideal terroir.
Formerly Cru Bourgeois, Château Haut-Marbuzet was reclassified Cru Exceptional the official classification of 2003 by the quality of its wines.
The grape varieties are composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. The grapes are harvested in almost overripe, which brings all the flavors of this Cru. The wines are then aged in new barrels.
High Marbuzet produces powerful wines, spiced with exotic flavors, combining subtlety and classicism.

Château Haut-Marbuzet 2012 marked its 50% Merlot, offers a pleasant fruity, lengthwise. Balanced and delicious, it will delight lovers of Saint-Estèphe.
