TASTING NOTES:

  • View: The colour of Château Montrose 2003 is an extraordinary red-ruby not very intense, with a good layer.
  • Nose: This wine has aromas of ripe red fruits, raspberries, and toasted aromas of chocolate, a spectacular perfume of creme de cassis, spice, new wood (oak), and licorice.
  • Palate: The Château Montrose 2003 is a full bodied, spectacularly tasty, creamy in texture and a strong presence on the palate. It has a slow start, but as you progress expands on the palate with silky tannins and a very long finish.

This red wine is cherry with brown edges. Smell like nuts, like it. It tasted like licorice.
We didn't pair it well, but the wine was good.
A red to drink with that special person.
