This Second Classified Saint-Estèphe is one of the references in this prestigious appellation.
With the hand of master Jean-Bernard Delmas Castle asserts itself in a precise and elegant style.
The 2011 vintage is characterized by a garnet-colored dress.
His nose is expressive with fruity aromas, spicy smells of mocha and licorice.
His mouth is rich, powerful and accurate with time. It is dense, with imposing tight and velvety tannins. It also elongated and éclatant.Boire or keep: 2023 - 2042

Saint-Estèphe Château Montrose 2Ème Cru Classé 2011

I had it with cod. Very good. I went with work colleagues to Saint-Estèphe and we taste it there.
Clear ruby red colour. Peculiar aromas of raspberry. It is the softest wine of Bordeaux.

Saint-Estèphe Château Montrose 2Ème Cru Classé 2011

My best friend from Bordeaux recommended it to me.
Red ruby colour with reddish brown edges. Notes of coffee and wood taste. I didn't notice any aftertaste, but the taste was right.
This Saint-Estèphe wine goes well with food.

Montrose Saint-Estèphe 2016
I thought the Montrose Saint-Estèphe would be perfect for a romantic evening.
The red and violet edges were visible for me. Notes of strawberry on the nose. I felt it alive and fresh.
We didn't pair it well, but the wine was good.
