Château Phelan Segur 1959

It wasn't well paired with food. We drank it in a trip with another couple.
This red wine is cherry with brown edges. Aromas of cherries. This Saint-Estèphe tasted like what it has to,  grapes.

The best wine for a gift.
A Cabernet Franc with a nice colour. A tender berry smell. It would have been better if it had been cooler than it was. Our fault.

Scent of red currant dominates . It tasted like grape juice.
A very good red but with too much wood flavour.

Saint-Estèphe Château Phélan Ségur Saint Estèphe 2012
Nuances of blackberries. Astringent.
The Saint-Estèphe Château Phélan Ségur Saint Estèphe is very good if served cold.

Saint-Estèphe Château Phélan Ségur Saint Estèphe 2010
This Saint-Estèphe Château Phélan Ségur Saint Estèphe deserves a special meat. A client gave it to me.
This wine has a very attractive cherry colour. Good smoked and toasted aromas. A strong red.

Poor color, with red tile edges of color. Strong smell of violet, it seemed strange. It is a very well balanced.
It was not good with fish, I'd rather use it with a vegetable stew.
The best of the Chateau Phelan Segur.
