Château Léoville Poyferré 2008

Lots of unctuosity and a boatload of sweet cassis and black cherry fruit intertwined with notions of licorice, smoke and oak; full-bodied, remarkably concentrated and stunningly pure and textured

Château Léoville Poyferré Rouge 2009 - 100 points Parker
Parker words:

Its intense purple color ad a wine of extraordinary wealth, voluptuous texture and mild tannins. It offers both an intellectual and hedonistic pleasure with ripe fruit very pronounced.
'High alcohol is not so noticeable because of the concentration and freshness that has most of 2009 - a characteristic of this vintage whose wines will benefit for decades to come. It is a wine to buy in large quantities. It will be good for another 4 or 5 years. "

This 2013 vintage is a wonderful flexibility. On the nose, there aromas of flowers but also toasted notes. The mouth is ample, tasty and précise.Une surprise! Drink or keep: 2017 - 2030
PAIRING: Bresse chicken with mushrooms

Château Léoville Poyferré 2006 de lo mejor para la carne de buey
I have had the pleasure of trying this Château Leoville Poyferré 2006 on a trip to France a few months ago with my family. I savored along with a good "Pot au feu" (beef). It is exquisite, the best I've had, but still overpriced.
