Reviews of other vintages of 2010 Château Léoville Poyferré20092013

4.5/5

Parker words:

Its intense purple color ad a wine of extraordinary wealth, voluptuous texture and mild tannins. It offers both an intellectual and hedonistic pleasure with ripe fruit very pronounced.
'High alcohol is not so noticeable because of the concentration and freshness that has most of 2009 - a characteristic of this vintage whose wines will benefit for decades to come. It is a wine to buy in large quantities. It will be good for another 4 or 5 years. "

This 2013 vintage is a wonderful flexibility. On the nose, there aromas of flowers but also toasted notes. The mouth is ample, tasty and précise.Une surprise! Drink or keep: 2017 - 2030
PAIRING: Bresse chicken with mushrooms
