TASTING NOTES OF 2016 Château Talbot:

  • View: deep plum.
  • Nose: aromas of black fruits slightly woodsy, fuzzy subtle touches.
  • Boca: half body with crisp and extensible tannins.

APPELLATION: Saint Julien.

GRAPES: 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot 32%, 6% Petit Verdot.

AGEING: 15 to 18 months in new oak barrels to 40%.

WINE PAIRING: Roasts.

TEMPERATURE: 16 °C

You will not find this Château Talbot in any supermarket.
Ruby colour at first sight, but then it has more intense hues. Characteristic nuts notes. It was harsh in the mouth for a Saint-Julien.

This Talbot does not need food to accompany. The best of  for drinking in good company.
