“Wine Constable of Talbot It reveals notes of red cherries, white pepper and mint that bring him a greedy and fresh side. Woody nuances come to marry this beautiful aromas. Connétable Talbot in 2015 offers a full and silky attack associated with flexibility throughout the mouth. It characterizes this delicate wine that can be enjoyed in its youth. Connétable Talbot 2015 is a second fond of wine and lots of fun. Domaine Château Talbot With Castle Talbot, Fourth Classified Growth in 1855, we are in the geographical heart of the Saint-Julien appellation. 100 and a few hectares of vines are planted on a floor fine gravel Günziennes resting on a limestone base starfish. This very stony soil provides good drainage and a good return of the heat accumulated during the day, qualities appreciated by the 4 grape varieties that make up this wine, namely Cabernet Sauvignon, king of the Medoc, Merlot and, in lesser amounts and years, Petit Verdot and Cabernet franc. After hand harvesting, vinification takes place in truncated wooden vats or stainless steel tanks depending on the plot, the age of the vines and the quality of the grapes before maturing 14 months in new oak barrels from different coopers and 8 50% to 60% new wood. You will find in this wine complex notes of Havana and licorice, without a classical austerity, roundness, complexity and above all, a great predisposition for safekeeping. And as proof, if needed, Bernard Burtschy retained over 12 vintages of this wine. . . See all the wines of Château Talbot area”
