It's ideal

Reviews of other vintages of 1989 Les Fiefs de Lagrange201320122010

4/5

This is always the Cabernet Sauvignon grape, which remains the majority but Petit Verdot prominently in the assembly with close proportions of previous vintages.
This 2013 vintage has complex aromas. It is a sweet and tasty wine, well-rounded offering a trimmed nose of red fruits and a fruity taste very smooth.

Les Fiefs de Lagrange is the second wine of Château Lagrange.
The history of Lagrange vineyard took shape in the late eighteenth century, when Jean Valère Cabarrus, Minister of Finance of Napoleon, made the acquisition. It will develop until 1825. Château Lagrange belongs to Suntory Group, Japan's leading distributor of alcohols since 1983. A real impetus was then given to the property, starting with a complete renovation of the vat room and cellars.
The 117 hectares of Château Lagrange stretch for Graves ridges in the heart of the Saint-Julien appellation. The planting of the vineyard is composed of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot and 7% Petit Verdot.
This 2012 vintage has more flexibility than its predecessor. It will be under the sign of roundness and gluttony, offering a trimmed nose of red fruits and a fruity taste very smooth.
