2018 Sancerre la Perrière Saget Blanc

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: pale yellow with gray reflections.
  • Nose: the nose is intense, with notes of yellow peaches, mangoes, lemon, and a touch of flowers, acacia and elderberry.
  • Mouth: The palate opens wide, smooth and rich, then develops into persistent exotic fruits and citrus. The finish is fresh and pleasant, in orange peels.

APPELLATION: Sancerre (Loire Valley, France).

GRAPES: 100% Sauvignon Blanc.

AGING is aged with lees for 3-4 months, then bottled and aged again for an additional 5 months before being marketed.

After decanting, the wine fermented in stainless steel at low temperatures, never 18 ° C to preserve aromas. No yeast is added to the wort before fermentation, but indigenous yeasts are used.

PAIRING: combines perfectly with fish in butter sauce or creamy chicken dishes.

ALCOHOL: 13%

Resulting from the assembly of the three great terroirs of Sancerre Appellation (Terres Blanches, Caillotte & Flint), our white Sancerre La Perrière provides a good overview of the typicality of its vintage in Sancerre
Well balanced between leaking and minerality, this wine is certainly a classic of the Sancerre appellation
